Philly Cheesesteak Bread Bowl Salad
Josh had me over for dinner and little did I know what an amazing cook he was! He served in Pennsylvania where there are a lot of Philly Cheesesteaks. This was his first time making it...these bread bowls were HOMEMADE guys! I forgot to take a picture before I started eating...I was kind of hungry...but you still can see what it looked like. :) It for sure is a favorite in my book!! Can we have it again please???

Day 8: A Photo That Makes Me Sad

Dutchess
(I'm guessing I was 14 years old here. I LOVED her.)

Day 7: A Photo That Makes Me Happy

My Brother Brian Leaving On His Mission
Doctrine and Covenants 18: 10 , 15-16
Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God; And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father! And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!

Day 6: Reasons I Love My Mom

Today I wanted to write a post about why I love my mom. After her little ordeal of being bucked off a horse it's made me realize how fast I could lose her. I am thankful that I have my mom. I am thankful that I didn’t have some other mom. I can’t imgaine who I would be today if I had any other mom but “my mom”. I, no doubt, would be a totally different person if I were someone else’s daughter. My mom is my rock. She is the one person whose opinion matters most to me whether I ask for it or not. She is my treasured friend and keeper of all secrets. She knows my faults and gently assists in my improvements. My mother is the bright thread woven through our family that will be seen long after she is gone. My mom is the one I always call first when I have either good or bad news. I’d say that’s the sign of a best friend! I love my mom and I am so thankful to have her in my life. Thank you mom for being you. I love you.

Reasons I Love My Mom:
-She has a great sense of humor and taught me the value of laughing in life...And we know how to LAUGH!
-She is smart. My mom taught me good study habits as a kid that helped me throughout life. As a child I had a hard time learning in school. She spent countless hours helping me with homework and teaching me to read. I was difficult.
-She laid in bed her whole pregnancy with me. She loved me that much.
-She was there to comfort and pamper me throughout all my surgeries growing up.
-She gave me the best birthday parties a girl could ask for! The Little Mermaid Party was the best!
-She is the best cook--just try her cinnamon rolls, homemade bread, or...shall I go on?
-She has so much enthusiasm! Have you ever seen or heard her read a children's book? It's exciting!
-She is a great interior decorator. With her skills, any room can become beautiful!
-She is an amazing photographer. Our memories will be remembered because of her.
-She is artistic. She can draw, paint...just about anything.
-She told me I was beautiful my whole life and now I believe it.
-She would tuck me in at night even when I knew I was too old for it.
-She is a great makeup, nail, and hair artist...and no, she never went to beauty school.
-She was always there when I came home from school and always wanted to know how my day had gone. I felt special, important, and loved.
-She has a strong testimony and it shows in how she treats others. She has always fulfilled her callings in the church and I'm thankful for her example.

These are just a few reasons I love her. Anyone that knows her can't help but love her! She is one amazing woman! I love you Mom!
